Victoire, what’s in a name? It’s in his genes. A winner, that is the very least we can say about his sire, Comme Il Faut. Under the saddle of Marcus Ehning, Comme Il Faut played a leading role for years in the five-star circuit, which underlines not only his quality, but also his hardness and health. Comme Il Faut won for instance the 5* Grands Prix of Vienna, Madrid and Brussels Stephex Masters. In addition, he collected numerous top ten places in GCT classes, World Cup classes, Nations Cups and the EC in Rotterdam (silver team medal and 5^th individual). Comme Il Faut is also making his mark as a progenitor. In the most recent WBFSH sire ranking, he has now risen to seventh place.

Victoire JW’s dam, Nistria JW, carries the proven performance blood of progenitors Diamant De Semilly and Carthago. She is a tall mare with plenty of blood and exceptional jumping ability, showing great suppleness behind and a freely flowing tail. In partnership with Hanne Mertens, Nistria successfully competed at 1m45 Grand Prix level. Nistria’s oldest offspring, Quaprice JW, also performs at 1m45 level. Nistria is a half-sister to Promesse, known as the dam of the highly regarded progenitor Untouchable.
