Loss of Chalino Z

Loss of Chalino Z

No luck for our stable... Yesterday evening the 8-year-old Chalino Z died. Yesterday the grey son jumped in a 1.45m class with joker at the London International Horse Show, where Karel and Chalino left the ring with a fault, after which the son of Chippendale Z sustained a small wound.

Karel didn't want to take any risks and took Chalino to the vet of the show. To prevent the risk of infection, the vet decided to inject Chalino Z, after which he fell dead. The grey gelding has now been brought to the University for autopsy.

Chalino Z was in our stable for two months. Together the duo won two times fourth prize in the 1m45 classes of CSI5* -W Stuttgart, while they gained a third prize in the 1m45 during CSI2* Kronenberg. He was co-owned by Louis Woestenborghs.
