He achieved victories in Nations Cups, 5* Grands Prix and took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. He also makes his mark as a progenitor. He is known as the sire of illustrious showjumpers, such as Igor (team gold and individual bronze at the European Championship in Rotterdam 2019, Jos Verlooy), multiple 5* GP winner Imerald van ’t Voorhof, Kasper van het Hellehof (5*, McLain Ward) and Nice van ’t Zorgvliet (5*, Christian Kukuk).

Emmerson Hero’s dam line is a succession of mares from the world of international showjumping. His dam, Arabella DS Hero Z, collects top ten places in four-star tournaments. Her sire (Arac du Seigneur) jumped at 5* 1m60 level, her dam (Estrella Hero) at 3* 1m45 level. Estrella Hero’s dam completes the picture. We are talking about Electra van ’t Roosakker, the Carthago daughter out of Atoucha van ’t Roosakker, with whom Janika Sprunger and Jos Lansink excelled for years in the international 5* circuit. Emmerson Hero was one of the standouts during the Zangersheide spring stallion approval edition 2024. He is without any doubt a great promise for sport and breeding.
