Double Fun Marienshof has everything to make it in the big sport: caution, exceptional balance, very good rideability, a lot of scope, a strong canter, very good hind leg technique and a good mentality. These showjumping qualities are reflected in his record. Under the saddle of the Swedish Sofia Westborg, he jumped dozens of times clear during international competitions for young horses in 2021 and 2022. Since June 2023, Double Fun Marienshof participates at international showjumping classes for youngsters, CSI 1* and 2*, in partnership with Karel Cox. We are once again struck by how often the stallion jumps faultless. It has been the common thread throughout his sporting career so far.

In addition to his excellent showjumping qualities, Double Fun has an additional asset, namely his pedigree. His sire, Don’t Touch Tiji Hero, was unfortunately unable to make it in the sport due to an injury. It does not prevent him from passing on his limitless scope, riding comfort, blood, intelligence and willingness to work to his descendants. Just think of Puskas de Kalvarie (5*, Gilles Thomas), Desiree DR Z (5*, Abdel Said) and Dalton de Tiji (1m50 level, Mariana Michlickova). Double Fun also inherited top performance blood on his dam’s side. His granddam, Marien, performed at 1m50 level and produced the international showjumpers Dundee, Calorie and Funky Fred VH Marienshof.
