A position he owes to a long list of international five-star showjumpers, including the Tokyo Olympic horses Explosion W (Ben Maher) and Chanyon (Daisuke Fukushima), Chacco Blue II (Santiago Lambre), Miss Blue-Saint Blue Farm (Yuri Mansur), Casquo Blue (Harry Charles) and multiple 5* GP winner Chalou (Emanuele Gaudiano).

Josje VD Heffinck, the dam of Chocolatier, won the open free jumping championship in Aalter as a three-year-old. From her first vintage, two of her three sons were approved as breeding stallions, namely U-Rock VD Heffinck and his full brother Chocolatier VD Heffinck Z. Her dam, Maquinn VD Heffinck, who jumps with great technique and elasticity, achieved an impressive series of clear rounds in 1m45 to 1m50 showjumping classes in 2023, in partnership with Leonie Peeters. Maquinn is also known as the dam of the approved stallions O-Chacco DDH (ex-Teyssier VD Heffinck) and United VD Heffinck, who was referred to the third phase during the BWP stallion inspection in 2023. Maquinn’s dam, Isolde VD Heffinck, performed at five-star level and is a full sister to Romeo, with whom Harry Charles jumps at the highest level, including the Olympic Games.
